The session ‘Find Your Tribe’ was held at the Construction News and Property Week Life Sciences Conference and Awards last month.

The Life and Mind Building was a quadruple winner at the Construction News & Property Week Life Sciences, Tech & Research Clusters Awards event.

BCO Conference.
We were well represented at this year's British Council for Offices (BCO) Conference in Edinburgh, with Brian Graham, Cath Macpherson, Matt Sadlers, Alan Gibb and Rowan Palmer attending.
A particular highlight was Cath Macpherson's participation in the Science & Technology panel discussion, showcasing our expertise within one of the UK's fastest-growing sectors.
Mix Awards.
170 Piccadilly was nominated for the Mix Interiors Awards and subsequently won Project of the Year – Workplace Interiors (35,000–70,000 sq ft).
The project involved the sensitive refurbishment of an early 20th-century Grade II listed former gentleman’s chambers, transforming the building into a contemporary, fully managed workplace for GPE while respecting its historic character.
ANC Awards.
Radley College won the ANC ‘Building Award’. The Radley College Music School project delivered a major extension and refurbishment of the existing facilities.
Judges recognised the strength of the user focused approach, the value of early engagement and the successful coordination of complex acoustic requirements. They noted that while the technical demands may appear typical of music school design, the real achievement lay in the depth of collaboration and the clarity of client satisfaction
Mission Mammoth STEAMfest.
Representatives from the Plymouth office attended the ‘Mission Mammoth STEAMfest’. An annual event that brings together primary school children from across the city to take part in engaging activities and learn more about careers in the construction industry.
A trip to Wandsworth.
Max Foster paid a visit to Wandsworth Healthcare’s Digital Patient Experience Centre. The Wandsworth Healthcare team demonstrated their digital solutions in action, including the “Silent Ward” nurse call concept for hospitals. The benefits associated with improved patient recovery times and staff wellbeing were fascinating to hear about and could prove invaluable in healthcare settings.
We won the Airport Expansion Award!
We won the Airport Expansion Award for the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme at New Civil Engineer Airport Awards 2026 in London. Well done to all involved.
Rich & Vanessa attended the BCO Northern Awards Dinner where Vanessa was able to celebrate St Michael’s winning best Commercial Office and the ESG Award.
International Women in Engineering celebration.
Elisabeth Eweka, in celebration of International Women in Engineering Day hosted a live event for her ENGRL platform.
The event brought together engineering professionals, employers and supporters of the ENGRL community for an evening of inspiration, networking and celebration.
The landmark occasion featured the official launch of the ENGRL website, a significant milestone for the platform and its global community of more than 150,000 followers.
Dave, Andy, Rupert, Helen and Ian enjoyed an evening with Arcadis at the Sutcliffe Charity Ball.
