London Festival of Architecture
We recently collaborated with John Robertson Architects (JRA) as part of the Studio Lates programme for the 2024 London Festival of Architecture. We invited designers, clients, and the local community to reimagine London as they know it.
Together we encouraged people to think big on nature, sustainability, materiality, and innovation. Through a series of questions, we gathered participants’ thought-provoking responses, drawings and designs and used them to generate content for our Studio Lates LFA event. The responses were used to create content including AI-generated imagery, a virtual reality experience, an interactive video installation and a demonstration of the novel Hoare Lea sustainability modelling tool, Biome.
Thanks to all of those involved; Matthew Daniel, Kate Glensman, Bradley Bates, Brad Joseph, Chris Fox, Chris Thompson, Dan Nowak, Dan Widdowson, Eugene Conlon, Jack Carlisle, James Buck, John Hunter, Kael Gillam, Karam Bhamra, Laura Burley, Lee Medcalf, Liana Hoque, Matthew Partridge, Muhib Kahn, Posy Curless, Pranay Vakaria, Rob Spry, Ruqayyah Hashmi, Tony Grady, Fred Ingram

Our Bournemouth office represented the firm across several events this spring and summer:
Surrey University – Careers fair, Bournemouth University - Networking with the De-sign and Engineering final year students event, BCP Careers and Apprenticeship event, The Abbey School, Reading - Careers fair, Newbury College - BIM presentation & VR demonstration, Queen Anne School - Careers in Engineering Assembly and Bournemouth University - Business Breakfast and Exhibition Tour.
Through our client Earls Court Development, we hosted a workshop for school children. Daniel Nowak, Hansa Hanif, Sharon Keya and John Hunter worked with the class, exploring the Kings Cross area. They then took their learnings and ideas to create their own models for a future urban place. It was a great opportunity for us to inspire future designers, engineers, architects, and BIM modellers.
